Rising Film Evaporator

Rising Film Evaporator (RFE)

The Deutsche Process Rising Film Evaporators are designed and fabricated for high efficiency and high production capacities. Our systems have industry leading pumps, valves and instrument. The systems are completed with fully integrated tanks, condenser, piping and controls making install and operation simple for the end user. Controls and automation included make the system easy to use and creates consistency of production runs.

The Rising Film evaporator works by pumping process fluid into the bottom of the evaporator and applying a heating utility to evaporator. As the product fluid rises in the evaporator, the heating creates vapor bubbles that rapidly rising to the top. When these bubbles form, they force the fluid in the evaporator into a film along the heated surface. The vapor and concentrate then travel into a separation cyclone where tangential force separates the remaining fluid from the vapor.
